From distant realms where phoenix rise and serpents guard their hoards of gold,
To Fantasy Fayre, where griffins soar and ancient prophecies unfold,
Come, unicorns with shining horns and wolves who prowl the twilight deep,
Join us in this mystic realm where secrets wake and legends sleep.

2025 sees the return of a fan-favourite event from the creative brains that bring you The Jhb Medieval Fayre, A Viking Thing and Discworld Day.

Fantasy Fayre: The Bestiary returns to Rusty Hook in Honeydew, bringing with it all the imagination and brilliance you have come to expect.
Straight out of the AlterEgos stable, you can expect activities and games for all ages, real animals, magical beings, competitions, entertainment and so much more, ideal for all ages.

The magic market will trade all day!

Enter The Witch Trials! Are you a worthy witch? Granny Weatherwax will decide!
Chance your arm (and your soul) at the Assassin’s Guild Inhumation Exam (drink stuff, don’t die).

Burnt crunchy bits, dwarf bread, rat onna stick and other local delicacies can be found between Harga’s House of Ribs and the Curry Gardens, so weary travellers and brave explorers will not have holes in their tummies. Keep an eye out for Cut-me-own-Throat Dibbler.
The presence of beer always greases the rungs of the evolutionary ladder so make sure your Inn-sewer-ants-polly-seas are up to date and join us in The Mended Drum. Scumble on sale too!
