AlterEgos Events’ Fancy Dress Competitions are world-famous throughout Gauteng.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:
Competitors will be divided into pools throughout the day. This is to ensure that you still get to do all the things and see all the things and not have to hang around too long waiting for our judges.

The top two competitors from each pool will compete for the GRAND PRIZE at the end of the day! We have incredible prizes up for grabs!

JUDGING:
Prizes are awarded based on creativity and relevance to the day’s theme. Competitors can address the audience with a skit if they wish, but this is not compulsory and does not affect the rankings. Audience input will be requested and considered, but the final decision will rest with the judges.

NOTE: This competition is not judged on the same principles as an official cosplay competition. There are no categories and judging will be done solely at the judge’s discretion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Pre-register for the Fancy Dress by purchasing a spot above.
Choose your ideal pool (there will be 2 during the day to determine who will compete in the grand final).
Please do not be late for your pool. You will not be permitted to join a later one.

Entries will still be open on the day, but they will cost R30 and you will be placed in a pool based on availability.

WHEN & WHERE DOES IT ALL HAPPEN?
Each pool will take place in the Loch Ness Lounge (aka the dome close to the Info Booth) on the day of Fantasy Fayre at:
Pool 1 – 11:30
Pool 2 – 14:30

FINALE: 15:30
